Hello and welcome to Wags & Wisdom!

I’m Kyle, a Victoria Stilwell Academy (VSA) Certified Dog Trainer based in Birstall, Leicester.

 

I offer 1-2-1 modern and ethical training that focuses on positive reinforcement, using up-to-date and science-based training techniques. My training is tailored to the individual dog and client to ensure strategies are compatible with the dog's breed and characteristics, as well as the owner's lifestyle and personality.
 

I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs and recognise how valuable a strong bond between dog and owner can be, not only for the dog’s well-being but also the owner’s well-being. Let’s face it, a happy dog equals a happy owner!

 

When getting my own dog, I researched training techniques to educate myself and give my dog the best life I could. I went on to complete the VSA-Certified Dog Trainer course so I could use my passion for dogs to support fellow dog owners to develop positively enriched lives for them and their dogs too. Following that I completed the Michael Shikashio, Aggression in Dogs Master Course. I attend the yearly global 'Dog Behaviour Conference' and regularly listen to podcasts or attend webinars by leading dog trainers and behaviorists'. I also have experience of working with a canine dietician in regards to diet related behaviours. Therefore, if you book my training sessions you can be sure you are getting up-to-date and science-based dog training advice!
